Built around 1860 in the style of a Venetian palazzo, a fashionable look of the day, this air-conditioned city hotel has 48 simple, stylish, contemporary and comfortable rooms. It is privately owned and independently run with an emphasis on friendliness, good food and thoughtful service. Guests are welcomed in the lobby, which offers a 24-hour reception and a 24-hour check-out service, as well as a hotel safe and lift access to the upper floors. All rooms are en suite and feature a shower with large rain dance showerheads, bath and hairdryer, as well as Vola fittings, huge soft towels, mist-free mirrors and REN products. The individually designed rooms come with a double or king-size bed draped in Egyptian cotton, a direct dial Arne Jacobsen telephone, a satellite/cable wall-mounted LCD wide-screen TV, a DVD player, a radio, hifi and Internet access. Furthermore, a safe, a minibar, tea and coffee making facilities, an ironing set and air conditioning are provided in all accommodation as standard. The solid wood floors are warmed by under-floor heating.
