Got sent to the wrong room by the receptionist who realising their mistake had to come and find me. Room had the feeling that it had not been aired for a long while. Air conditioning was in effective. The berries served at breakfast were still frozen.

Reception staff were trying to aspire to the service of a greater star hotel. In reality, it came across as rude and patronising. I did not receive the courtesy that you would commonly expect from all hotels. I suppose as I wasn't wearing a business suit then I was not their preferred clientel.

good value at £50 a night,small gym,nice staff.
£13 for breakfast is too much, my shower was neither hot enough and leaked,but at £50 a night its ok.
Close to Woking and the shopping centre.

I was really very pleasantly surprised by how great this hotel was ... especially for the rate on Hotelopia. The room was brilliantly appointed and there was nothing more I could have asked for. Despite having limited parking on site, the ability to use the multi storey free of charge was a bonus. I have recommended the hotel (and Hotelopia) to my work colleagues as we frequently use B&Bs in the area but with such a great location and amenities, I would go for the Holiday Inn every time.
The price for breakfast was a bit steep but then most hotel breakfasts usually are. They do offer you a choice of pillows ... I wish I'd opted for selecting another one as mine was like an after eight mint.

Clean and tidy and staff friendly and helpful
There is building work ungoing to November and I was woken at 5am by it's start. Only limited TV channels (5 terestrial plus 3 others) plus pay to view.
Loads of cheap pubs and nightclubs. Poor restaurants - mostly generic Pizza and Chicken places.
