    within walking distance of the terminal

    I have stsyed in the Holiay Inn at Glasgow Airport many times but this was my first ( and probably last) stay at the Express. How this down market hotel can justify its charges is a total mystery - the room did not even have a minibar let alone a wardrobe !

    A well-run efficient clean and friendly hotel. I would go there again and I would reccomend it to all airport users.

    Quick and friendly service. Everything was unburocratic. Comfy beds, the wake up call worked like clockwork. The bread toaster at the breakfast buffet did exactly what it was supposed to do, it toasted bread. The expresso from the machine tasted great.

    The name was confusing. I went to the Holiday Inn first. The girl at Holiday Inn didn't seem surprised to see me.The fact that" Express" is a superlative adjective as well as an adverb makes " Holiday Inn-Express" sound a bit like "Holiday Inn-Quality Hotel" Once you've found Holiday Inn you don't feel that there's any need to keep looking. The words "Welcome Peake" were on the TV when I entered the room. "Welcome Mr Peake" would have been nice.

    We only wanted to fly from Glasgow so we just wanted to sleep.

    Easy to get to from the airport. Nice size room and clean. Overall - was good value for the ££

    The whole ambience was excellent.

    1. Food ordering at pointof service was confusing. When ordering the food the staff should have also offered drinks instead of leeting us realise when the food arived we had to return to the bar for our drinks by which time the food had cooled. 2. The reception staff were also coveringthe bar and food order point this left long waits and they were frequently inattentive to others needs preferring to chat amongst themself.
