Great Location in an awesome city. Nice size rooms. Hertz car rental next door if you want need a car.

New hot breakfast service was chaotic - the breakfast room can't manage large numbers with large queues everywhere.

Theatre on the doorstep and all the main city attractions within easy walking range.

Ideal for a sightseeing/shopping weekend visit to Edinburgh. Room must have been at back as we did not hear any street noise during night. Just as I like it. Room spotlessly clean.

Within walking distance to restaurants, Princes Street, Playhouse Theatre, John Lewis store.

Daniel at the Front Desk was exeptionally helpful and efficient, a real asset to the hotel.

Location is everything! Right in the centre of Edinburgh, it's directly across from the Playhouse Theatre. Our room was spotless, and quiet at night. Free continental breakfast was the icing on the cake - lots of choice, fresh and delicious! Can't wait to return!

Friendly helpful staff

We were given a room on the 6th floor which, we later discovered, is exclusively for smokers despite telling the receptionist that we would like a non smoking room when she mentioned it. We thought that all hotels were now non smoking and perhaps the foreign receptionist had made a mistake when suggesting that we had booked a 'smoking' room. The room had a strong smokey atmosphere and spoiled our stay. Breakfast self serve area is very cramped. Tea and coffee facilities would be better placed at the end of the line so that customers who wish to get more do not have to join a queue again.

Hotel in excellent location to shops & restaurants. 5 min walk from station/city centre. Room was spacious clean. Staff were all very helpfull. Would recommend.

omni centre and theatre across the road, including cimena, gym, pubs, restaurants. Princes st. 2 mins away.

It would have been nice to have the use of a teapot at morning breakfast, tea in a mug just isn't the same. Thank you. Also the baggage room facility was much appreciated.
