Hotel Hilton London Islington

Hi, I am disabled and made a couple of requests which were implemented with no problem. Very nice hotel, good value and friendly staff.

The decoration in the corridors to the rooms could not have been more atrocious if they had tried. The combination of brick walls and ugliest carpet in the world has to be seen to be believed.

Poor experience at cehck in. Very strange lay out of rooms. Obviously used heavily as decoration (despting being quite new) looks worn already. Was given a disabled room on arrival despite being a Hilton Gold Honors member. They did change it the next day, but still was an effort.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Very convenient location, nice shopping and eating area, would stay here again. Excellent breakfast, hot and cold buffet style, great pastries.

Bed in our room really uncomfortable not at all what I expected in a Hilton, beds were joined together and you could feel the springs through the mattress.

I was obliged to change the room, because was for handicapped people. The substitute was better.Having paid in advance the full price, the telephone connection have been cut off because the hotel was not trusting the payment of the telephone calls!!!
