En general todo ha estado muy bien. El personal, las instalaciones. Está perfectamente situado. al lado del metro, cerca, muy cerca de la Acrópolis y del Barrio La Placa.

The hotel is located in a side street so no traffic noise. The bedrooms are clean and comfortable. Breakfast is a full range buffet and should meet every taste. Staff were friendly and helpful when required. Excellent views of the Parthenon from the roof terrace.

    None

Access to the Acropolis is somewheres between a 5 minute brisk walk and a 10 minute stroll away. The soon to be opened Acroplolis museum is only 200 metres away. The Plaka area is a 10 minute walk away with its plenty of restaurants

Despite the recent riots in the city and our slight apprehension of what we might find, Athens seems to have recovered well from their troubles so far and renovation work to the damaged buildings seems to be well under way. New Years Eve in Syntagma Square was wonderful and I would recommend it to anyone. It is very much a family orientated time of year and we were amazed at how many people of all ages gathered together to see in the new year. Athens is probably our favourite city, having visited quite a few times before, but I must say that we were very surprised at the number of African street traders that have appeared since the summer of 2007, when there were just a few. Now you can't move for them and they make a nuisance of themselves especially when you are eating out at the Plaka. We got talking to a visiting Athenian who now lives in Surrey and he said that he doesn't recognise his home city anymore. It is such a shame that he should feel a stranger in his own home. That said, it won't stop us from visiting again and again. There is some much to see that you will never be bored. Enjoy!!

The hotel was always kept very clean. The bed linen and towels were changed on a daily basis. The temperature in the room was kept at a constant and was never too hot as you usually find in hotels. Our room was on the 2nd floor at the rear of the building and we had a good view of the Acropolis but had we been on the third or fourth floor the view would have been spectacular. The roof garden and hot tub areas were lovely although we weren't brave enough to try the hot tub out, with it being December/January. The breakfast each morning was of buffet style, was plentiful and always fresh, with a good selection of hams, cheeses, breads, cakes, juices and cereals aswell as cooked bacon, eggs and sausages. Staff were very pleasant but not gushing which we would prefer. Very good value for money. We would most definately stay here again.

I think the only downside to our stay was the fact that our room was right opposite the cleaners storeroom and so we were aware each morning of the sounds of their cleaning trolleys being stocked up ready for the days cleaning. That said, it was only for a few minutes each morning. We did also notice that the first two floors of the hotel, at the back, had not had their balconies refurbished whereas, if you looked upwards towards floors 3 and 4 you could see that they had much newer, smarter balconies. Presumably the lower two floors are kept for clients who have booked at a cheaper rate as we noticed the usual price of a room with breakfast was practically double what we had paid. Neither of these things affected our stay in any way.

The hotel is situated in a quiet residential area and is very close to everything that you would want to see or do in Athens. The Acropolis is just a few minutes walk away, as is the Plaka, Syntagma Square and many other sites and good restaurants. Try Gods Restaurant in Makrigiani. That was our favourite. Fantastic family and staff and lovely traditional Greek food. The Metro is just 2 minutes around the corner aswell and an all-day ticket or a 4 day ticket is excellent value for money. They can be used on all forms of transport in the city. We also used the Metro to get from and to the airport and cost us 10 euros for two of us. Staying at this hotel, you will never be far away from anything.

It is sometimes difficult choosing hotel accommodation based only on the brief information available on the internet, but this hotel was a gem of a choice. It was everything we hoped it would be and more - the roof terrace with jaccuzzi views of the Acropolis it's crowning glory. Ideally placed for visiting the ancient sites of Athens and the new museum when it finally opens. The staff were friendly and efficient. Shame everyone else has to know about it!!

Die Lage des Hotels war ideal für uns (Touristen). Besonders toll waren die Dachterrassen und die Whirlpools.
