Handy location, close to railway station. Nice room, friendly staff. Breakfast was of the buffet variety and was fresh and bountiful.
On busy main road making those rooms overlooking the road quite noisy. Air-con quite noisy even when mine was switched off, could still hear the air con in other rooms.
Within a 5 minute walk of the station and a 10 minute walk from the Lake and the Centre of Geneva. Therefore all central Geneva locations and facilities were all within easy walking reach.

Close to station, though on side of station which is away from the city centre and lake. Tea and coffee making facilities. Basic but clean bathroom. A small kitchen facility with hob and fridge.
At check in I was asked for my credit card which is not unusual. However, the receptionist wanted to put my details on a paper imprint which I understand is a real fraud risk. I asked if he could use the card machine which was on the counter of the reception as I felt this would be safer. I was told that he couldn't and that he would need an imprint of my card or 100 swiss francs as a cash deposit. None of this was on the booking website. I asked to speak to the manager and explained that I would not be using the mini bar or pay to view movies and I would not be giving over my credit card for imprint at the risk of fraud or providing 100 swiss francs in cash. In very blatant terms he told me "no cash or imprint, no room". I then asked for a refund, this he refused. In the end I had to allow him to imprint my card, but I insisted on having his name and the details of the hotel so that if any fraud occurred on my card I could report this incident to the credit card company. I was extremely disappointed in how this was dealt with. The manager was so angry with me that he was shaking. It's not the best way to check in. So far as the room was concerned, it was old fashioned in decor and furniture. All in all somewhat tired.

Lovely, warm, friendly, clesn hotel. Well situated in a quiet part of town but well connected to train station by the number 8 bus - or by foot, a 10 min walk. Shuttle bus superb, staff efficient and speak good english. Loved it there and would definitely go back there
All the decent hotels in Geneva are ridiculously expensive!
