Gran Hotel Guadalpin Banus

- hacen las habitaciones tarde. Escasean las toallas en ocasiones. - cuando el hotel esta completo no hay hamacas suficientes en la playa ni en en la piscina del hotel y la solucionnk te dan es que te costees una hamaca en la playa o sino a la arena.

lamentable situacion, habitaciones sin hacer a las 14,30 horas,limpieza en las habitaciones y en terraza mala, un señor llamada victor (encargado de recepccion) que parecia que te estaba haciendo un favor por alojarte en ese hotel, etc.etc.etc.

The hotel was in need of general basic maintenance, our room had lots of miner damage and a large damp mould patch on the outer wall. The TV would not work on the Uk channels. Just about every corridor had water leaking through the roof and smelt very damp. The main access road to the hotel is a disgrace there is rubbish dumped all along it and full of large holes. The walk to town along the beach side is along an unmade track which is full of mud and puddles, and there is no street lighting so is unsafe to walk it at night. The cost of drinks and food at the bar are ridiculous..!! 15.00 ? for a sandwich Car parking 15.00 ? per day..!!

Superb hotel in every way. The pool the area around the pool was fantatsic and the terrace on which breakfast was served was beautiful, leading directly onto the beach.

Bar proces were typical of Puerto Banus!

Visit Puertto Banus and Marbella. Many restuarants and bars within close proximity.

My stay at the hotel, for all my friends and I was all we could have wished for everything at the hotel was 1st class and Victor and his staff where excellent.We will all be returning next year for some more of this hotels excellent service.

The hotel was everything we expected...clean, ofa good quality and very contemporary in style. The hotel was approx five minute's walk from Puerto Banus which was extremely handy.

The price of the drinks at the hotel was extortionate! So much so, that it was cheaper to walk to Puerto Banus (which is certainly not cheap!) and have a few beverages. The drinks also differed in price according to where you were in the hotel. For example, a bottle of cava was 20 Euros in the buffet style restaurant but the same bottle was 30 euros in the hotel cocktail bar! To purchase a pint of local beer at the pool bar it was 8 euros-nearing on equivalent to £8!!

Puerto Banus was nearby and if you're feeling fit you can also walk along a coastal walk way to the town of Marbella -its approx 6km.

Loved every bit of the hotel and puerto banus ,,i have been to a few 5* ,, this hotel rates one of the best ... would recomend this hotel to anyone ..... from the food, room & staff all first class.. very relaxing holiday....

Beware the cost- Puerto Banus + exchange rate = £££s A bread roll & butter can cost 2euros each on your meal!

Good location on beach and facilities in general. Breakfast was exceptional. Clean neat & tidy. Not sumptious. Safe and relatively quiet.

Attitude of some of the staff. Prices of the services & food. The walk back from Banus- in the dark, very busy road or a 9euro taxi.

Eat& Drink- Good restaurants for daytime use on the beach. Good bars and eating in the centre.

was given terrible room 141 then changed to an equally bad and smelly room 438 although there were better rooms available at a surcharge and clearly vacant was on a break from caring for an elderly parent but was badle let down by the room would not stay there again
