Hotel Gran Ducat

Muy buena ubicación. Limpio. Aire acondicionado. En general está bien si vas más bien a ducharte y a dormir.

Se escucha el metro aun desde la 4º planta. Deficiente aislamiento del ruído entre las habitaciones. Desayuno algo escaso si vas a última hora.

Metro y tren a 50 mt que te permite ir a las playas. Cerca de las ramblas y el casco histórico.

The infos at the reception.(not about breackfast,nothing about the Hotel the area...my tv control was not working i was mentioned it for 2 days nothing hapend and even at the last day it was not working. The main ight of the room is ´like Hitlers ...in case that he wantet to get from somebody infos about something,even the light at the bed was very very strong and you can not move it.It was not a desk next to the bed in one side.)Roomnumber 102.Also the noice of the Metro....

The location is fantastic

Excellent central location. Had everything we wanted - air conditioning, safe, clean bathroom. Room was small and had no outlook but at this price we were not expecting more. Staff were very helpful.

Breakfast at 11 euros was expensive.

Las Ramblas, old quarter, shopping all close. Transport to other places - Familia Sagrada, port , csstle -easy.

when booked was a king bed but got there and was twin beds staff not very friendly tiles coming off walls in bedroom no fridge provided

Basic and clean, location easy to get to via bus(A1) from the airport beach (2 stops )available via metro (100mtrs from hotel) beach clean and sea blue, weather was great

Our trip was arranged at last minute so we couldn't go to the hotel I normally stay in. If the staff had been more friendly and helpful, the problems with the room, telecoms and noise wouldn't have seemed so bad. As it is, I shall never stay here again.

The location was great, just off the Plaza de Catalunya. The cleaning staff and the young man working in the bar were very friendly and polite. After moving, I had a very spacious room.

I had to change rooms at 1am because of plumbing problems in the bathroom. The hotel was very noisy which wasn't helped by the lack of carpet throughout and the lack of soundproofing between rooms and neighbouring bathrooms. Cleaning and hoovering seemed to go on all day from fairly early and there was a workman drilling one morning. The phones didn't work in either of our rooms and the internet was down for all four days of our stay. The male receptionists were very cold, unwelcoming and unhelpful. I have been to Barcelona more than a dozen times

Plaza de Catalunya, La Rambla, Passeig de Gracia, el Corte Ingles department store, short walk to the gothic quarter. All sorts of transport converge on the Plaza de Catalunya.

Overall service was mediocre, and no access to basic ammenities such as in-room refrigerator / bar and no ice in the hotel.Definetly not worth the 3 stars they gave themselves.Thanks

HOTEL Gran Ducat très bonne situation un agréable acceuil et un personnel aimable et toujours à votre service.

Accueil agréable. Excellente situation. Petit-déjeuner bien complet. Chambres à l'arrière calmes.

Le 3ième lit était trop petit pour notre fils de 15 ans... (lit d'appoint) Le métro fait un peu vibrer le bâtiment. Mieux vaut demander une chambre aux étages supérieurs.
