Golf Hotel

A great value hotel where I have stayed many times before. Good sized comfortable rooms with en suite shower etc. Good but not spectacular breakfast. Excellent location out of town with easy tram access to centre.

A bit dated.

Beautiful woodland park just down the road with walks up onto the hill above the hotel. Two very good non-League football grounds nearby. Plenty of shops, bars ,restaurants at Andel just a few tram stops away.

Nice clean hotel, with helpful staff and a good quick chambermaid service. The Hotel is only 15-20 min away from Prauge one by a regular and inexspensive tram service.

20 min ride on tram into town, cost about 90p each way, or £10 in taxi.

Easy access to city centre and airport.

Rooms rather tatty.

Value for money

No access to jug so all coffee/tea had to be purchased. There was a huge group of young people staying there (students??) who took over the place in the evenngs and made it a little overwheming (noisy and chaotic) for other guests

Overall, absolutely fine. Have stayed here 5 times now. Excellent value for money. There were no problems with previous rooms but this time Room 208 was not to the same standard. There was no TV remote control, we were separated from room 209 by a standard locked door. Although padded we could clearly hear all conversations in the next room. Also bathroom could do with modernising. Still happy on the whole.

Staff was helpful and everybody spoke English but unfortunately i will chose another hotel for my next visit to Prague. First of all my shower cabin was leaking so I mopped floor each time when I went there. Sheet had a yellow spot close to the corner and I have found some hear on the clean bed. Then remote control did not work - so it was annoying watching of TV. When I come 19.04.08 at 20.00 I was very hungry but restaurant had a function and did not serve visitors so I went outside with hope to find something to it. When I came back I found two toilet rolls of different color and quality in the toilet and ended up with trying to sleep but light went trough the hole in the left curtain and disturb me a bit . I had two armchairs of ancient time so I did not seat on them and was afraid to leave cloth on them they looked dirty and disgusting. Thank you for asking me about it.

Le personnel est disponible arrive à répondre assez facilement aux questions du client, et est très symphatique. Les installations sanitaires laissent à désirer, la propreté, et bien il n'y en a pas vis à vis des chambres. Pour cette raison seulement que je ne recommanderais pas l'hôtel Golf à mes connaissances.

la camera non aveva tende pesanti o balconi, alle 5 di mattina la luce che entrava dalle finestre ti svegliava.
