Pleasant room, good size and clean. Bar with small outside sitting area on street adds a 'cosy' touch to the place. Excellent location, 3 minutes from Checkpoint Charlie.
Public areas seem well geared to the business visitor, the consequence of this being a rather functional layout with little character. Bar service very slow, even at quiet times.
Just about anything - fair choice of restaurants in all price ranges, museums, city walks, general sightseeing and shopping. One feels very safe walking in the area at night (although the hotel IS directly opposite a police station!).

very nice hotel and very well located, rooms quite spacious but interior design a bit dull, good price for the quality.
breakfast quite chaotic but probably lack of staff just that day, can happen
famous check point Charlie right outside the hotel, not to be missed!

The meals in the restaurant were excellent. In addition to having breakfast we had 3 evening meals, all being of the highest quality and presentation. Very good value for the money
