Fresh Hotel

El desayuno es extraordinario y el salón en la azotea está muy bien. Las instalaciones son muy adecuadas. La cama y almohadas muy confortables y el servicio excelente.

La habitación fue calurosa, y no funcionaba correctamente el aire acondicionado. También podría mejorarse el baño (el agua de la ducha inundaba literalmente el baño al ducharse) al no haber mampara.

Está muy céntrico y muy bien situado.

No DVD in the room and I reception suggested a hire charge of €20 which is not good - the roof bar is overly expensive - the area around the hotel quite rough

Rooms, modern and clean. Fabulous reception staff and great location for the acropolis and plaka restaurants and cafes. Quiet street.

The view is a selling point but only a night when the acropolis is lit up and you can't see the satellite dishes surrounding it. The room temperature could not be adjusted. Always hot and it wasn't hot outside! Actually right next to the red light district. No problem during the day but women alone shouldn't walk on their own a few streets over at night.

Great bar/restaurant right by the hotel called Hell's Kitchen. Gazi for a night out is fabulous and only 5 mins drive. Ice bar in the hotel very convenient and open until 4pm. Restaurants on the Perias coast only 20 mins drive at night.

Ice Bar was shut on the Sunday we were there despite the room information stating that it was. The area around the Hotel is a bit dodgy wouldnt want to be walking round alone on my own

It felt crowded

We didn't have the opportunity to stay at this hotel. We were notifed on arrival that the floor our original room was booked was under construction. As a result of this we were moved to another hotel further out of Athens. This was ok as the hotel was of a higher star rating. However, I do think as a courtesy we should have been notified in advance to save on our travel time.

We booked a triple room and it was quite small for three adults. Would have been better to have provided larger rooms for 3 people.

The rooms are clean and functional, if a little small. And the breakfast buffet was generous.

This evening noise levels are unacceptable due to the prostitutes who congregate 50m from the hotel who make a lot of noise as they try to solicit custom...the police 100m away don't do much. There is no sound insultation, so most nights until 4 AM are noisey.

Monastraki is a 10 min walk away (one stop on the metro).
