Room and en-suite were clean. Friendly staff. Can't comment on food and bar as I did not use them. About a 15-20 minute walk to the centre (Rembrandtplein etc.). 5 minute walk to Vondelpark. Trams run past hotel so easy access into centre or anywhere else for that matter. Would use again.

The day staff was very active, friendly and helpful. Coffee in the bar was good and the hotel is conveniently located. Good value for money.
Absence of parking space. Public parking costs a fortune in Amsterdam.

Noisy, being on both a main road and on the tram line. Very basic. Stairway up to room had great chunks of plaster missing from the walls. Badly in need of redecoration. Carpets need to be replaced urgently, couldn't work out if they were stained or dirty or both. I wouldn't recommend this hotel.

Gratis Internet Corner fehlte.Der Rauch von anderen drang in mein Zimmer.

The single rooms were very small and basic, although this is usual for European cities. The double rooms were spacious and a lot nicer. Pleasant breakfast room looking out onto the garden. Lovely courtyard/garden area - a real bonus for a city centre hotel. Staff very friendly. All in all, a very pleasant stay.
