The food was wonderful & the general condition of the room was insurmountable.
The hotel was great, the staff were lovely. Though there was a distinct lack of professionalism, at times (though on the whole things were very good), in all hounesty the food made up for any shortcomings.

nettes kleines hotel in gemütlicher Umgebung, Frühstück war ok.
Es ist auf jeden Fall kein 4 Sterne Hotel. Das Badezimmer war zwar sauber, aber in der Toilette braune Streifen von der Spülung. Badewanne hatte auch komische braune Schlieren und die Badezimmertür ließ sich nicht schließen. In der Nacht wurde es immer relativ warm im Zimmer, obwohl die Heizung nicht lief (Ende März), stickige Luft.

L'hôtel est un petit peu décentré, mais proche des lignes de tram. Pour ceux qui veulent dormir au calme !
Très joli petit hôtel, au calme, accueil très sympathique, belle salle de bain, très propre, petit déjeuner copieux, chaussons mis à disposition.
chambres un peu petites
plusieurs musées (Rijks, Van Gogh), concerts, promenades dans le Vondelpark
The food was wonderful & the general condition of the room was insurmountable. 
Our room door could be closed very hard. Actually it had to be always slammed. Probably that is why we found our room door opened when we came back to the hotel in the afternoon. It seems the room maid is not too mascular... she couldn't close the door. But actually we are lucky because all belongings of ours were in the room. Otherwise it is more than sad... in a 4* hotel...
