Hotel Ellington

El personal de la cafetería (desayunos) es muy amable.

No dispone de restaurante. La habitación está correcta pero el baño no está a la altura de un hotel de 4 estrellas. Creo que estuve en la zona del hotel que está aún por reformar. Incluso la llave era de las antiguas (en otros pisos se usaban ya las tarjetas pero no en mi habitación)

Se puede ir caminando al centro.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, near to the shops,gallery's and not too far from the hown centre. The breakfast had lots of variety and the food was replaced each morning on a regular basis. The rooms are basic, but very comfortable and clean. The hotel staff are very professional and friendly. I would recommend this hotel to friends and colleagues.

When we first arrived we were allocated a room that had no air conditioning and the lighting was not working. We changed rooms to find that the air conditioning unit was leaking through the electical light socket in the hallway. We were offered another room change but we declined.

The hotel is within walking distance to catch a bus/traing to Monte Carlo, Cannes. This we done and had 2 wonderful days site seeing.

Nice is fairly close to Monaco and the train take's only 20 min - well worth the effort, especially if your a Grand Prix fan.

The hotel was clean and tidy with a very nice terrace to relax on. It's fairly central to the shops and the promanade about 10 min walk away. The ambiance of the hotel is very pleasant and relaxing

The size of the room we had was on the small side and fairly basic, even though we had upgraded. I would like to suggest to the hotel that they look at the position of the shower curtain as it presently hangs closer to the centre of the bath and not in line with the outside edge of the bath as it should be. This seems petty but when your having a shower and the curtain is sticking to you - it's very annoying.

The hotel was a clean simple basic hotel with a good air condition system and double glazing which was needed as it is in a busy central location

There is limited seating in the breakfast area which sometimes lead to not enough places being availible There is limited space for seating in the breakfast area and bar which can lead to waiting for a place .

The hotel is close to the main railway station and 10 minutes walk to the bus station and so is in a good location for exploring the surrounding resorts

very comfy bed, freindly staff quiet part of nice excellent breakfast one of the best I have ever come across

the room is getting tired, ie grouting round the bath, cracked wardrobe mirror door, and one door very difficult to open,

everything is so close, 20 mins to musee de chargall and a further 15 to matisse the center is two mins away

Smart hotel with outside terrace, good sized rooms with comfortable beds, room equipped. with tea/coffee making facilities. Excellent breakfast selection

Room was clean and comfortable and quite spacious with a huge and comfortable bed. The breakfast buffet was fantastic with plenty of choice and all very fresh. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and helpful especially with suggestions about places to visit and good restaurants. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation and would definitely return.

Excellent location only 5 minute stroll from the old town and 10 minutes from the main railway station which has excellent links to the rest of the Riviera.

overall a good hotel, would return. not really a 4 star but a passable 3 star.

clean and attractive. most of staff helpful and pleasant, with good english, thankfully.very good location, close to all ammenities,bus station, shops, promenade a ten minute stroll away.

a better choice of hot food at breakfast would have been nice,,though to be fair, what was on offer was good.

we requested an early morning wake up call which was not made. As a result we nearly missed our flight home. Would not recommend this hotel.

room to small we had to upgrade at extra cost of 250 euros, not very good for our low cost holiday.
