Wees altijd op je hoede, zelfs in dit ogenschijnlijk goede hotel
Bijzonder leuke ligging in Havana Vieja, mooie binnenplaats met plantengroei, 's avonds muziek bij het eten, goed ontbijt
Wij hadden niet altijd stromend water, het receptie personeel is afhankelijk van de receptionist soms heel vriendelijk, soms ronduit bot. De in het hotel gevestigde tourist office is dikwijls niet bemand. Sommige mensen van het personeel zijn niet te vertrouwen, zoals de man van de bagage deposito die eerst beweerde dat een taxi naar het vliegveld voor 2 personen 25 CUC was, daarna ineens 50 CUC, en in aanwezigheid van de receptionist bij navraag opeens weer zei dat het om 25 CUC ging. Zeer dubieus !

We were surprised the check in for El comendador is through the Hostal Valencia reception desk around the corner but other than that, the check in was very smooth and professional, the staff were friendly and the junior suite was amazingly spacious. On the whole, excellent location and great old hotel.
