Hotel El Cid

good value for money, central location, pool is very good

no air conditioning, rooms can be very hot, nave to pay for a safe

shops, cafes, bars, beach

The El Cid is a very basic hotel but is it well worth the price I paid for the room. I have stayed there before and the staff always give a great welcome to their guests.

The only really negative I can think of is that there are on TV's in the bedrooms.

Room was very clean and they changed the towels everyday also the sheets when necessary. The breakfast was excellent and such a good range of food which you could have as much as you wanted.

The bar closed after our 2nd night and we were told that it would not open again till next summer which seems stupid as the hotel was packed! The room was good but it was not too hot in the night so we could shut the balcony door as we looked over a main road. There could be a problem here if the nights are hot as the noise from the traffic would be quite bad and the ceiling fan in the room made an awful din. The pool was a sun trap but it did get quite crowded although the beach is near.

Railway station, main bus stop, shops and beaches are all within 5 minutes walk. It was a very good location.

Although the rooms are basic & old fashioned, they are very good value for money. Very clean throughout. Towels changed every day. Good, clean swimming pool. Good breakfast included. Friendly staff. Hotel is good location - In the heart of town & very easy access to the beach.

Basic rooms but no complaints due to the price charged.

As mentioned above - In the centre of town - Near shops & bars. Close to station & beach also.

Good location, breakfast has improved since I stayed here 2 years ago. As stated, rooms are without AirCon which is a factor during the summer, ceiling fan only.

This is our 2nd year at elcid, lovely rooms, nice and central, pool and friendly staff

Great value for money, friendly service, perfect location. Did not eat at the hotel so cannot comment, but the room was clean and serviced well. Very successful booking! 5*

bien situé bon rapport qualité prix pour Sitges ( mais reste cher pour 1 hotel 1 étoile ) personnel accueil chaleureux piscine propre nous avions la chance d'avoir une chambre avec vue piscine , plus calme

décoration trop vieille mauvaise insonorisation , on entendait le voisin ronfler il manquait des oeufs au petit déjeuner

refaire la décoration

On aurait bien aimer que lorsque on a mis la pentecarte disant "Pas de dérangement" on nous laisse tranquille. Les femmes de ménage ont quand même toqué en diant "hola" et on a répondu "hola", puis elles ont ouvert la porte...Ce serait agréable d'avoir la possibilité de prendre le petit déjeuner jusqu'à midi, puisque lorsque du festival de tango, on rentre à 5-6 heures du matin... :)L'employée qui s'occupe du petit déjeuner est la même que l'année passé et ne sourit jamais... :( Triste personne.
