We had a very pleasant stay at the Thistle Hotel. I chose it for its central location, which was ideal for getting around the city centre.The staff were friendly and professional.Our breakfast was hearty and delicious.Thank you for an enjoyable stay.

We were travelling with our 7 month old daughter for the first time and the staff could not have been more accommodating to our needs. A cot and microwave were provided to our room

Hotel was clean and friendly. Room was spacious enough for the two of us, with hairdryer and tea/coffee (incl. teapot!) En suite had an old shower with added booster pump, which helped boost the water pressure.
No lift in the hotel. We stayed on the third floor, and with three flights of stairs to climb between each floor, I was glad I only had a small bag and not a big suitcase! If you are in any way elderly or infirm, I would request a room lower down.
Hotel is ten minute walk from Princes Street.
