Good location, close to La Rambla; Port Verr & the Metro station. modern, well maintained building, attractive room decor

Approach to hotel at night from La Rambla is via a narrow poorly lit road and may be a little intimidating to some, especially with some evidence of people sleeping rough in the adjacent park. In the room itself, it would be nice to have tea/coffee making facilities & the bathroom was not heated which in November is not ideal!

Ideally situated for the central attraction of La Rambla; very close to Drassanes Metro station with connections across the city; Port Vell is literally across the road with the marina and new centre providing a good range of shopping/eating/recreational facilities.

Overall worth considering if you can get it at a reasonable price.

Superb modern interior decor. Very clean. Professional (but not particularly friendly or welcoming) staff. Centrally located between the Ramblas, Barri Gotic and marina in slightly quieter area.

Room was very good but not particularly spacious. We had a ground floor room and so got some noise from the street (to be expected), but also noise from the plumbing everytime someone above us flushed a toilet or ran a shower. Breakfast was ok, but seemed to run out of food well before the end of the published times, and the cooked food was cold and dried out. Limited facilities - no bar or restaurant.

Loads of restaurants and only a few minutes walk to most of central barcelona. 5 minutes from Metro Drassanes.

The hotel is located near the harbour and the ramblas. It is just two underground stations from Placa Cataluna where the airport bus stops. The rooms are small but nice and well equipped. The staff was friendly and helpful. On the day of our departure the lift was out of order so we had to carry our luggage down from the 4th floor. We didn't ask for assistance because it wasn't that much and not heavy but I'm sure we'd have found someone to help us. The lift was fixed by noon when we picked up our stuff to go to the airport.

The hotel is only a short walking distance from the harbour and the ramblas and on the edge of the old town with its pedestrian zones, nice little lanes and lots of shops, bars, restaurants, the cathedral etc. It's only 5 min. from the underground station "Drassanes" and from there you can get to any of the sights, monuments etc. very easily. The location is ideal for a sightseeing trip to Barcelona, shopping until 9 or 10 p.m. and nice evenings in the old town.

Well appointed. Beautifully designed. Excellent position.

Quality of hotel generally ok, but not 4* quality. The quality of the food provided for breakfast was poor as was attitude of staff. The air conditioning in the room was barely adequate (stayed during April) so it would be useless in the middle of summer.

La ubicación.

El personal no solucionó las incidencias con el televisor de la habitación durante toda la estancia. Es impensable en pleno 2012 que un hotel de 4* no de servició de wifi libre a todas la habitaciones y te hagan pagar 2 € por una hora de wifi.
