English: I loved the old-timey atmosphere and 1930's "grandeur" of the hotel, as well as it's being across the street from a little park. My room was just above the front door, and it was nice to see the park in the morning. It was great having a good restaurant right in the hotel. Once the desk staff got it figured out, the internet connection worked fine. I appreciated having an elevator. It was fairly conveniently located right across from the Gare (although I was in a car), with shopping right nearby as well as inexpensive public parking underground across the street.
Both mornings that I was there, there was a lot of noise outside in front starting at about 6 am - one morning it was the motor from some kind of refrigerator truck parked out front making deliveries to the restaurant, and another it was guys cleaning the place with leaf blowers or pressure washers or something. It did take the desk staff about most of the day to figure out how to get the Wifi working on my laptop from my room, which was an inconvenience.
