Days Hotel Bristol

I shall be fowarding these comments to Days Inn

All I can say that is a positive reply is the Hotel was located well. The breakfast was ok.

Arriving at the services it was well signposted, but needs a sign to say Hotel Car Parking area and the bushes were hiding the hotel so missed it and had to go out and around again. Embarrassment on booking in. Asked if we would like a breakfast I replied it's all included, Oh no you have to pay for it, so I showed my invoice and booking advice, still not convinced she had to go and pull out paperwork from cabinet, but in the end was told oh your paper work shows you are. Then given voucher. On entering the room it had a smell of urine, but with the extractor on and windows opened it soon cleared. My wife dropped an earring on the floor so I had to feel around on the floor and look for it, but was not well impressed with the hovering, under the bed and furniture was a lot of crumbs, grit and general dust. In the morning I went to have a shower, I could see that the bathroom had recently been update and was well impressed with the quality of workmanship and finish. The only problem was I could only get cold water from the shower. The control would only turn to cold, it would not turn in the direction as indicated for hot water. So had to have a strip wash. On going for breakfast I reported it to reception They offered to get maintenance over, but I was just about to eat and go on our way. On leaving and handing over our key I asked if they had made a record of my complaint re the shower and the young lady said they had.
