Check in was a disaster. I was called half way through my booking to ask when I would be checking out. Checking out was also problematic.

the bus service to and from gatwick was very good, on time and very courteous.
very clean, and this is important to travellers. your staff was excellent for the most part and put in an effort to help with information. the room was very good and had comfortable beds. food was good, esp the breakfast buffet. cleaning staff was first rate, as was elina, one of your dining room staff. the front desk staff was really good also. the overall feeling of being in your hotel was relaxed and comfortable.
one staff member was noteworthy for a very poor reaction at the bar, when i was counting out change
unfortunately, we did not have time to explore crawley, it seemed there were a lot of attractions nearby, just no time to get to them.
