During the remodelling much attention was given to retain the beautiful arches of the building that dates back to the year 1899. The hotel is built around a rectangular courtyard, in which guests can relax without being constantly reminded that they are right inside the city. There is an Internet corner in the lobby and wireless Internet access available throughout almost the entire hotel. Facilities include 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe, lift access to the upper floors, a newspaper stand, hairdressing salon, breakfast room and a car park.

The hotel is centrally situated in the 2nd district of Vienna, close to the Praterstern and approximately 15 minutes' walk from St. Stephens Place. Underground and tram stations are in the immediate vicinity. The Prater public park is literally right in the backyard. The hotel is very appealing to nature lovers, cyclists, joggers and, of course, theme park fans. Furthermore, the Vienna international fairgrounds (Messe Wien), the Austria Center, the UN buildings and the Johann Strauss Museum are quick and easy to reach. Schwechat International Airport is about 20 km away.
