Hotel Cassidys

Lo mejor de todo la situación del hotel que es perfecta. En pleno centro y cerca de las paradas de tranvía, autobuses y tren y de todas las calles principales.

Las habitaciones están bien, el baño algo anticuado pero en general todo aceptable.

Room was rather warm and we could not leave the windows open because of noise from nearby establishments. Bathroom could do with a refurb.

I will start with the positive and the only one was that the staff were very friendly. Negatives as follows... Our room was not ready for us to check into until almost 4pm. When we got to it the room was disgusting and was full of smoke. There was half a roll of toilet roll between 3 and no toiletries. One bed was stained!! I don't believe the room was cleaned at all, I think we were just let straight in as it was so late. I called reception to ask if I was able to purchase a toothbrush and I was told for 4euro the machine had little packs called just for you or something like that so off I went and made a purchase. When I brought it back to the room I opened it to find a razor. I called back to reception and was told they were labelled. Off I went again as I knew they were not. I brought the girl from reception to look and she told me I was right but unfortunately she couldn't refund me. Breakfast was not good and I'm not a fussy eater. All in all I would not recommend this hotel. Cheap but certainly not cheerful!

Loved its old world charm and it is in an exellent location so central. Staff very nice and helpful.

Check in was a bit late as we cudn't go exploring when we arrived first as had to come back to hotel at 3 to check in

Everything was lovely! The staff was friendy and accomadating. The rooms were large for european standards and the shower was as well.

Very convenient location, breakfast very good.

No problems experienced.

Easy access to start of bus tours and everything in the city centre. Theatre just opposite although we didn't visit it. Cinema nearby and choice of restaurants relatively nearby.

Hotel was pretty standard, room wasn't huge but we didn't pay very much so didn't expect much!! Good value for money, it was cleaned daily and fresh towels.

The room was absolutely freezing! We stayed over new year (there was snow a few days) and the heating was on a timer... we were very cold! The friendliness of the staff on reception was a bit of a down point. We couldn't check in till 3pm either- which we weren't aware of until we arrived. We also weren't allowed to wait in the reception/lobby area. Felt like we'd been kicked out on the street!

Very good location, near all the Dublin attractions. And very close to the tour bus stops so quite handy!!

Central position for most places of interest.

The most comfortable bed that i have had in a hotel in a long time! Staff were friendly and helpful showing us how to get around and providing a map to help us.

The hotel is well situated everything is walkable (some places like the Guiness storehouse) would have been easier to get the bus.
