Friendly staff, professional and helpful. Know where all the good pubs are too.
Seemed a little understaffed at check in and breakfast time.
The schooner pub is not what it used to be !

Clean, modern with a touch of nostalgia.
No remote control for the TV. When I asked for one, the one brought didn`t work and they said they would have it sorted soon. Still didn`t have one after I left the hotel after 3 days.
Friendly staff, professional and helpful. Know where all the good pubs are too.
Comfortable bed and clean room.
Really bad street noise due to building work which although not directly controllable by the hotel, I was not notified about. Staff just disinterested in letting me check-in or letting me back into the hotel when I returned late at night.
