The historical hotel, renovated in 2011 and with 34 rooms, has a magical atmosphere created by its historical past and by being built on the original bedrock of a monastery, carved out of volcanic, chimney-shaped rocks. The establishment is decorated with local artefacts and mixes modern comforts with ancient history. Guests are welcomed in the lobby, which offers a 24-hour reception and a 24-hour check-out service, as well as a hotel safe, currency exchange and cloakroom. Guests can enjoy a drink in the bar and dine in the spacious restaurant. The historical hotel also has a small garden and wireless Internet access throughout the establishment. For a fee, the historical hotel offers room and laundry services, and there is a car park for those arriving by car.

All rooms incorporate original cave structures, cave bedrock, unique lighting, antiques and local handicrafts. No two rooms are alike, and the views from all of the rooms are equally unique. All rooms are en suite and feature either a hydro-massage shower or a hot tub bath, as well as a hairdryer, a double bed, a direct dial telephone, an LCD TV and Internet access. The rooms also come with a safe, a minibar (fees apply), tea and coffee making facilities and central heating.
