Hotel Ca' del Moro

Buen personal en recepcion y en hotel. Desayuno correcto, habitacion correctissima. El servicio gratuito del hotel que te lleva a el puerto para cojer el vaporetto.

La experiencia ha sido positiva , lo mejor no lo dudeis la piscina.El trato de recepción ha sido muy bueno , otra cosa a destacar es que tienen internet a un euro la hora pero lo malo es que sólo hay un ordenador.Este hotel esta en un centro deportivo en el cual hay pistas de tenis de varias superficies , campos de futbol y gimnasio.Para llegar a él tendreis que coger el autobus A o B en la estacion maritima de Lido y bajaros en la parada 4 de via Malamoco ( Parri). Por cierto el transporte en Venecia es bastante caro os lo aviso para que no os coja de sorpresa.

la limpieza es un poco justa al igual que el desayuno.

Bien organizado para todo tipo de ocasión, especialmente para quien quiera hacer deporte (tenis club). Al lado de la playa del Lido. Zona tranquila pero con transportes públicos las 24h para llegar y por la mañana servicio gratuito del hotel con furgoneta para ir al vaporetto. Muy bien el desayuno. Habitaciones nuevas, limpias y luminosas.

El wi-fi es de pago y sólo disponible en la recepción, no llega la señal a las habitaciones.

All staff encountered pleasant and helpful. Rooms very clean and well appointed - but as below - limited facilities.

Limited facilities in room eg no kettle/iron. Limited snack/light meal facilities. Tinned rather than fresh fruit salad available at breakfast. Swimming pool closed for latter part of stay (including only sunny days). No pavement from bus stop to hotel - was further away from Lido 'centre' than anticipated. Had to walk in rain from bedroom block to breakfast area.

The hotel was fine, but we feel there was misrepresentation in its description of being 200 metres from the beach, through the hotel grounds.In fact the only gate in the hotel grounds out towards the sea was locked, so we had to walk round by the road, only to find there was no beach, but unscalable man-made boulder sea defences, no sand nor beach. The nearest beach was a 15 minute bus drive away. Also there were no shops nor restaurants: again if you wanted a meal in the evening, you had to take this 15 minute bus ride. We rang the hotel on arrival at Lido to ask the number of the bus, and were told they were not running that time of night and to take a taxi, which we did, but saw a bus in front of us en route!

We asked for first floor with balcony and double bed, got ground floor with 'balcony' on the car park, two single beds - though the maid stopped separating them after three days!There was a clear glass window in the bathroom (shower cubicle) just above eye height - not very nice.No proper ventilation and air conditioning didn't heat, only very cold, so room extremely damp and everything smelled of damp - not possible to have any ventilation without opening the patio door, which obviously was not secure.Staff very nice but hands seemed to be tied.Breakfast very disappointing - no variation, low quality food, nothing for us (we don't eat dairy and meat) -however the manager kindly arranged the luxury of eggs and fruit after the first day.Wireless internet access only available in reception and charged very expensively. Swimming pool good - open after we asked after first day, very cold (not heated) but pleasant.Tennis courts good, but cost 8 euros for hotel residents.

unfriendly reception staff - apart from one polish lady. cold and unwelcoming. would not return

Nicely designed modern public loung and breakfast area.

Large public lunges not in any use for guests other than short breakfast time. No food, no service rest of the day in the main complex. Impression that hotel ectualy do not want to make any profit on food
