Staff friendly. Room clean,bed comfortable. Room warm plenty of hot water. Plenty tea/coffee/milk in room. Breakfast very good,good choice, presented well and restaurant very nice. Overall very good value for money.
Hotel near bus station,trams,bars,restaurants,China town and many shops. Good location.

Close to the centre of manchester. Food was very nice.

Everyone was friendly and polite, room was clean, cheapest you'd get for the location
Very noisy, but as I mentioned the great location, this will always be a downside. However there was so much noise from the hallways on the Saturday night, which I think could have been contained better. Also I was never informed that there was a nightclub under the hotel, so didn't end up having alot of sleep during my stay. Housekeeping never made the bed, we stayed for 4 nights, I've worked in many hotels and this has always been common practice for a stayover.

Hotel room was disapointing i.e. missing light fittings, pealing wall paper, no net curtains, mould around bath, etc. We were woke up 10 plus times during the night by noisey guests (a school prom was held at the hotel the same night, lots of under age drunk teenagers running around) made worse by the fact there was some kind of noseiy fan out side our window and even with the windows shut it was hard to get to sleep. On the up side staff where polite, the public areas looked nice, breakfast in the morning was lovely and the hotel is in the centre of town but this wasn't enough to put up with the room and disturbances. I will NOT be staying here again.

I was travelling alone and felt safe walking to and from the hotel and also felt secure in the room. It was a bonus I was at the top of the hotel so had views of manchester and an added bonus I was in a room with a 'circular window' part of the period features of the building- very unusual!

The hotel is in need of a little TLC (it was extremely clean, but needs a lick of paint and a bit of updating). I walked past the hotel initially as I thought it was a restaurant (lots of signs for food and drinks under restaurant names, but little to indicate it is the Britannia)
Very close to the conference centres. Very close to the Piccadilly train station (walking distance with bags!) Very close to the Arndale centre and the Manchester shopping centre. Very close to a number of restaurants.
