Well placed in the centre of the old town but with easy access from the road system and convenient free parking just across the road. May need persevere on the side door access. Welcoming and helpful. Well appointed with a restaurant all the year round, although with a more limited winter menu until 1st May but the food was fine. A reasonably priced alternative to the overpriced parador.
Watch out for the over polished bath if showering although as this was reported to the management it may have been rectified. As we were only there one night we were unable to check this. This is the reason the Room and Facilities have been marked down slightly.
The Castle and Church complex of Cardona, see Parador. The medieval town of Cardona. Salt mines. Good Romanesque churches in the neighbourhood. Possibly a good walking area.

El desayuno es bastante decepcionante, a base de café y tostadas únicamente.
