efficient check-in, clean room, socket outlet, plenty of towels
breakfast not brilliant - hot items were cold, milk, fruit juice and breakfast items not replenished. Very noisy when people were walking down the metal gang-plank. Air conditioning not working

7 of us stayed on the Botel Marina, and all share the same thoughts: not worth the money we payed, not a three star hotel and will definitely not stay on there again.
The only positive thing i can say about the botel, is that it looks presentable from the otside. This will soon change once you enter the room and restaurant!
Firstly, the only way to approach the botel by car is to stop on a busy dual carrigway and then walk across to a very steep jetty, so be careful!! Although the reception and lobby area is relativly pleasent (excluding the staff), I was very disappointed as soon as I entered the rooms. Rooms are small (as expected), but very dark and shaby. I had to remind myself that this botel was renovated not so long ago!!! There is only one word I can say about the bathroom: DISGUSTING!!! It was basically a tiny plastic cubicle, which smelt exactly like an aircraft toilet. Not to mention our toilet wasn't even cleaned!!! What the botel dicription failed to mention when booked, that the bar on the botel is a lapdancing club, so families be aware! The restaurant needs a good clean, especially the windows! Breakfast was poor, and definitely not typical of a 3 star establishment (although the botel signs showed 4 stars - unbelievable).
Check out the "UFO" observation / cafe restaurant on New Bridge, right next to the botel. Hviezdoslavov Square is 10 mins walk away, from where you can easily explore the small historical centre. Two restaurant nearby a would definitely recommend to everybody are Malecon (cuban) and El Gauco (argentinian).

Nice and unique, good location
it's ageing a bit with wear and tear showing, the food was uninspiring at best
Buena situación, aunque peor que la de otros botels. Zona tranquila y a un corto paseo del centro.
El desayuno, muy pobre y de mala calidad.
