The hotel is right on the seafront. Open your curtains in the morning and view the blue skies and the sea lapping the golden spotless beach just across the promenade. The staff are lovely and if you want to practice your Spanish you will have ample opportunities. Two minutes away are hundreds of small tapas bars and restaurants, right in the heart of "Old Town". Although I have criticized the food it was only the lack of variety. It felt as though we were at a health farm which altogether was not a bad thing as we could binge outside.I would certainly return there, and I would recommend it to anyone

This is a very typical Spanish hotel. Our only complaint was the food which was very basic and lacked variety. If you have been used to and enjoy buffet breakfasts with hot food, and buffet dinners with a large choice then think again as that does not happen here. The room was also basic but comfortable enough.

Explore the Old Town for food and shopping.Benidorm has arguably the best beaches on the Costa Blanca. You are only ten leisurely minutes walk from the nerve centre of Levante for mad party nights if thet is what appeals to you. There are theme parks, golf courses, bicycle hire, great, cheap, clean public transport to all the lovely surrounding towns like Altea, Albir and Villa Joiosa. There is also a coastal railway which goes from Benidorm to Alicante in one direction and Benidorm to Denia in the opposite direction.
