This hotel is the most unique of all the Bay Area boutique hotels in Downtown San Francisco. Inspired by San Francisco's rich cinematic history, this hotel is adorned with classic movie palace designs and dramatic Hollywood portraits. Each of the 65 comfortable guest rooms is named after a motion picture shot here in the city. Using the original movie stills as decorative accents, the hotel provides guests with the most interesting Downtown San Francisco hotel rooms while simultaneously keeping clients centrally located to everything this exciting city has to offer. This city hotel is housed in a building that dates back to 1912. Guests are welcomed in the lobby with 24-hour reception and check-out services, a hotel safe and lift access to the upper floors. Air conditioning, a TV lounge, breakfast room, Internet access, a car park and a garage also feature.

All 65 of the jewel-toned comfortable rooms are named after famous films set in the city. The rooms come with 1 queen bed, 2 twin beds or 2 double beds. All are stylishly decorated and en suite with a shower, bath and hairdryer. A direct dial telephone, satellite/cable TV, a radio, Internet access, tea and coffee making facilities, an ironing set, and individually regulated air conditioning and heating also come as standard.
