    The hotel was fine, the area was rather dodgy. I was shocked to see people openly dealing in drugs in broad daylight on the street (Tositsa) leading up to the hotel. Having said that, there was a large police presence - just don't walk down Tositsa - use the streets on either side. The hotel was very handy for the museum, and north of it was the student area with some fantastic bars and restaurants that were cheaper than the plaka, and had a lovely, lively atmosphere
