An excellent Hotel to stay at if you want to visit Munich - which is only a short train trip away and there is a very good train service.. It is also only a short bus journey away from the City centre of Erding which has plenty to offer in itself.

Nice rooms; very clean. Excellent breakfast. The Staff were very helpful.

    No complaints.

Go to Erding City Centre where there are plenty of Shops and Restaurants and pretty walks. Good proximity to Railway Station for train to Munich.

One of the two mattresses in the room seemed worn and had that 'crushed' centre compression when laid upon. Otherwise the stay was pleasant. When booking out of the hotel I was presented with an invoice (bill) for the whole stay even though I had paid via the Easy Jet payment mechanism online. The receptionist look 'startled' when I pointed this out and rectified it immediately.

We stayed at the hotel while waiting to catch a flight home after our holiday, so it was not our main hotel. There were some very good points about the hotel, but it was let down by things such as: grubby grouting in the shower, no ordinary tea bags on the welcome tray, some staff were unwelcoming [although less senior staff, such as cleaners, were very polite and friendly]. The main problem is in the dining room, where staff do not appear to be trained to welcome and assist people from another country, who may find things a little different to home. On neither of the occasions we used the dining room were we met and shown where we ought to sit. As not all areas are available to everyone, this is a problem. At breakfast, we initially found it difficult to find a place, because tables had not been cleared. There was nothing to show or tell us how to obtain coffee, and the procedure for making tea was completely alien to what we are used to in the UK. When we finally saw someone we could ask for coffee, we were told brusquely that there was a pot on the table. There was, but it was left over from someone else's breakfast! In the end we had fruit juice to drink. Good staff training and basic language skills could put these things right but, at the moment, we would hesitate to readily use this hotel again. Jean Bowles.
