Hotel Best Western Cromwell

Muy próximo a boca de metro (gloucester road) 1 minuto andando , a 5 minutos andando del Museo de Historia Natural y del Museo Victoria and Albert. Y a 10 minutos andando de Harrods. Frente por frente a la boca de metro hay cafeteria, Tesco (supermercado) y un Burguer King. Pudimos dejar las maletas el día de salida del hotel para seguir paseando hasta la hora de irnos.

No hablan español en recepción.

Muy buena situación, tranquilo (en especial habitaciones interiores). Desayuno muy bien. La habitacion correcta aunque algo pequeña.

En la recepción tuvimos problemas con el idioma. Nadie conocia el castellano y no se esforzaron por ayudarnos.

Mejorar atención a clientes de habla no inglesa en recepción.

Reasonably-sized room, free internet, hairdryer, tea/coffee, newspaper. Breakfast was good.

Good situation for easy travel round London

Room too small. Full English breakfast did not include bacon! TV should have had 11 channels including Sky Sport. Only six worked and some of those were impossible to view because they were blurred. Reception said it applied to all rooms as they had problem with Sky. Not good enough.

Room was very clean, and big enough for 2 people. Also bathroom was very clean. very convenient location because it only takes 3minutes from tube station.

Hotel was very near to tube station. Hotel had many shops, restaurants etc near.

the manager - unfortunately we didn't meet him until checking out after we were there for a few days. Recommend for position in London - but don't expect too much from staff or room. There is a laundrette just up the street - very reasonable.

room was very small - no bar fridge! the staff didn't smile nor acknowledge that we even existed - didn't say hello or good morning any of the days we stayed

underground was just around the corner, near kensington palace - bus stop out the front of hotel (but we chose to use the trains).

£10 for a half decent bottle of wine from the bar.

Problem on checkout where they tried to charge me an additional £119. Had to make a trip to an internet cafe to re-print my voucher. Turns out they had presented me with the wrong bill! Pretty poor and I had to jump through hoops for a simple mistake by the hotel staff.

Would recommend hotel, but sometimes can be overpriced.

Clean, efficient and attentive reception staff.

Rooms are on the small side. Bathroom was extremely tight to move around.

Restaurants, Tube, Pubs/Bars

My daughter and I only stayed for one night, but it's the type of hotel you wouldn't mind staying a bit longer in. The room was spotlessly clean with everything we needed. Check in staff were friendly and helpful. I was a bit apprehensive when they said that breakfast is served down in the basement, but this turned out to be a lovely bright and airy room with yet more friendly staff. The breakfast choices were plentiful, with a good sized pot of tea instead of a skimpy cup that some places give you. Check out staff were very helpful with our onward journey. We really enjoyed our short stay, and would go back without hesitation. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in this area. It is small compared to the big hotel chains that surround it, but this only helps to make it feel more comfortable and welcoming.
