Best Western Citadel Special Hotel

Sea view bedroom offered great views. The room was well designed and to a high standard. Comfortable bed! The hotel offers very high quality bed and breakfast. A good choice.

No communal areas to relax in. The bar is expensive and not overly comfortable, so does not do much business - lacks atmosphere. Reception staff were always polite, but let us down on booking a shuttle bus to the airport. (Seemed one person did the work and the others on shift took messages and may not understand them or pass them on)

An uphill walk for 5-10 minutes brings you to the centre of Sultanamet with all the tourist attractions. Regular taxis available also.

Close to all of the main sights but facing the sea with views over the Bosphorus. Well maintained, clean and comfortable for a short stay. Open Air restaurant producing good food at reasonable price.

Noisy road in front, but double glazing and air conditioning mitigate the impact of this.

Short walk to Blue Mosque, Haggia Sophia and local retaurants

La camera tripla risultava piccola, armadio inadeguato (piccolo), letto matrimoniale troppo piccolo per due persone

Istanbul ist eine Reise wert! Das Hotel liegt sehr zentral zu den alten historischen Bauten. Die Hauptstrasse vor dem Hotel könnte im Sommer bei geöffneten Fenstern etwas laut werden.
