Front desk personnel were very welcoming and helpful. Strong wifi signal. Warm room with individual electric heating.
The first thing that hits you when you enter the hotel is the smell of industrial cleaner and bleach mixed with some artificial scent. It immediately gives you a headache and the dreadful anticipation that the room will be suffocating. It was. You have to leave the windows ajar to be able to breathe. One wall was covered with crayon markings and another with something dark brown. All walls had outdated, dirty wall paper. Small TV doesn't work. At 9:30 in the morning, cleaning lady knocked on the door and told me (not asked) that I was to leave at 11 that morning. Needless to say, I was glad I just had to spend one night there. Even at 50 euros (internet price), it still seemed too much to pay for the night. Now I know why it was the last hotel with rooms available close to Strasbourg. Like me, it would be an urgent reason to book and no other hotels available.
