On March 12th, 2013 is Silent Day (Nyepi Day) in Bali. This holiday celebration will start at 6.00 am and will last until
6.00 am, the following day. No arrival and departure flights, no traffic, music, dancing or activities are allowed and the
harbours will be closed. Only on emergency situations will guests be allowed to leave the hotel. Swimming in the ocean is
not permitted, the hotel swimming pools may be open depending on the individual hotels rules. Any external lighting visible
to surrounding communities is to be extinguished. Guests are required to close their hotel room curtains to minimize the light.
