Das Frühstück ist nur auf die englische Kücke abgestimmt. Echt schrecklich, daher werden wir es das nächste Mal ohne Frühstück nehmen.

Very good access by ferry boat All the main attractions within a reasonable distance ,

Although not central the free ferry and free late bus make this an ideal budget location. Room was very clean as was rest of the hotel. No noise problems etc. Staff friendly, bar area sociable.

Only marked dowen on staff professionalism because of one individual checking in other guests, she appeared rude and indifferent - not the best first impression!

Pleasant local bar and restaurant by the ferry departure. The life and vitality of the city only 10 minutes away.

The guy at reception was polite and friendly, he changed our room for us because we wanted a view of the submarine. The room was very quiet and peaceful. The ferry to the station is very close to the hotel. The bed was very comfortable. The food we got from the bad was very nice too.

The hotel is a bit far from central station (the ferry dock is close, but the ferry takes a long time).

Get the ferry to Central Satation.

Enjoyed the whole experience immensly.

Very good value for money. Enjoyed the FREE ferry trips. The late night miny bus service worked perfectly. Met a lovely woman in the hotel (another guest). Just like staying in the centre of Amsterdam apart from the ferrys. Only 10 min's. and run every 1/2 hr..and drop you right next door to the 'Botel' The onsuite facilities are not vast but adequate. Nice views from the upper floors. Enjoyed the bar, loads of other people to talk to. Would book it again without hesitation.

The lowest floor shower room smelt of drains so i moved up to the top deck for the next few days.

Nothihg except a bar/restaurant. Just take the ferry. So easy and you right in the centre of Amsterdam.

We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Amstel Botel. We found the staff to be efficient and friendly, and the facilities to be comfortable and functional.

I found the bathroom to be less clean than it could be (shower tiles especially)

We had a fantastic afternoon on the Pollux moored next to the Amstel Botel, where we enjoyed the bar and restaurant. There is another good bar and restaurant nearby, and we enjoyed seeing the greenpeace ship.

The hotel was easy to get to by ferry and ferry and bus at night (although rather than a video printable instructions with a map would make finding the ferry easier). Sightseeing in Amsterdam and the surrounding area is easy as the ferry terminal is behind the central station. The boats location is quiet with no shops nearby and one cafe/bar. I liked finding swans and ducks swimming outside my bedroom window in the morning.

The hotel was purpose built but the rooms are now looking a bit tired.

There is not much to do near the hotel but central Amsterdam is a 15-20 min ferry ride away.

You basically get what you pay for,,, the room is basic but is clean and the shower is hot and powerful and we had a good night sleep.

Nothing, you have to get a ferry to central station, was easy and free.

Stayed for 3 nights in Feb 2009, very warm welcome from professional staff. Hotel moored on a busy working waterway, with a submarine at one side and Greenpeace Sirius bost at the other- all added to the unusual nature of the hotel!! The free ferry services from central station to the hotel were safe, quick and regular. Would definately recommend to friends- many thanks for a very enjoyable stay!!
