    The room facilities were very poor. It seemed that bed sheets, blanket, and towels were not clean.

    Great location for exploring the Plaka and Acropolis etc and as a base to stay in whilst shopping in City centre. Generously provided buffet style breakfast and plenty of hot water in shower/wash room.

    The hotel has a tired appearance and can be considered outdated by modern standards but the price to stay here does reflect that. However the constant smell of stale cigarette smoke was prevalent throughout the hotel and would be a cause for concern regarding health and safety and is definitely off-putting. Had we not arrived so late at night and indeed needed to wake early the next day for an onward flight we would have sought alternative accommodation . Some other guests could be heard clearly as they moved about their rooms and making strange noises !! Not condusive to a longer stay other than an overnight doss!!

    The first night I could not go to sleep as the bed had 'bed bugs'. then next morning I had about 100 bits. Infact I took a photo of 2 just to remember. As my holiday in Athens was great but the hotel really was terrible. now its 2 days later, I had all my cloths washed in extra hot water to get rid of any bugs being transfered to my home and to my family. Unfortunatly my wife and daughter now has them.
