merece las cuatro strellas que ofrece.
es inadmisible el aparato de TV en las habitaciones.Antiguo pasado de moda con una tecnica que ni en los hoteles que recorro se ve.,pues en todos ellos , de igual categoria, se han renovadopor modernos y mínimo de 32". Si no consideran ese gasto asequible a su empresa, por lo menos podían tener unos cuantos en alquiler, a precios razonables y no para hacer negocio.

Unas buenas instalaciones de Spa que se supone es un lugar para relajarse; realmente esto no es facil, ya que hay poco control en el comportamiento de algunos usuarios.
Ubicación excelente... Instalaciones óptinas...
Quizás los precios en el bar y restaurante esten un poco altos... Siempre me alojo en una suite, abonando el supl. correspondiente; en mi última estancia éste fue de 60 ? por día que me pareció excesivo, maxime cuando lo comparo con el que normalmente me han cobrado en otras ocasiones.
Sobre todo caminar. Igualmente hay una oferta variada en cuanto a restauración...

Dentro de la habitacion se escuchaba mucho el ruido de los pasillos. Hay muy poca insonorizacion.La comida del buffet un poco pobre, hace falta mas variedad.

The Costa Tropical is a peculiar 'micro climate' - it can be wet and miserable in Malaga or Almeria about 1 hour away along the coast in either direction, but this area seems to be sheltered by the mountains and the rubbish weather seems quite often to miss the area, particularly if you are out of the main season. The beach is not fine yellow sand but slightly gritty - OK and sea seems clean.
Third visit to this hotel. Almunecar is a Spanish seas side town and has a life outside tourism and lives all year round. Very few British and good local feel. Things to see and do. Staff always good. We joined the Playa Hotels group and if every time you visit you get a stamp on a card that accrues discounts off the bill or special deals. We are very happy with this hotel.

Good town - visit the real food market. There are historical sights in the town - castle, roman remains etc, and a bird zoo, aquarium etc. if it rains. and it is easy to visit other places of interest to mix in with a beach holiday eg Granada is about 1 hour away by car - all the road network is good to here.

Stayed at this hotel several times as it is very cconvenient as we havw family in Almunecar
Loads of places to explore around Almunecar also it has nice prominade for walking

Good position in Almunecar. Friendly and helpful staff. Not too expensive but not too cheap either. The suites with huge patios/jacuzzi are very good but at £100 per night extra perhaps not such good value compared with Easyjet half-board rate.
The hotel is somewhat tired and could do with a little refurbishment.
Beach, old castle and town, Granada/Alhambra trip, Gibralter trip, shops, restaurants.
