Hotel Alius

This hotel is great if you are on a restricted budget and was ideal for 2 adults and older children - would not suit children under 10 years old.

Rooms were clean and the beds were comfy! staff were very polite and did everything they could for our comfort (gave extra pillows and provided hot water for our tea)!! Room was always nice and warm - we visited in Feb!

Have to walk up 87 stairs to get to the hotel and staff in the lower foyer (entrance to building) were rude - but they are not connected to the hotel so it certainly would not put me off staying there again!!!

The hotel is in walking distance to the Colluseum and trevi fountain and only a short Metro ride from the Vatican. There are plenty of places to eat near the hotel that cater for every budget.

Confusing when we first arrived as the door was open and we walked into the lift area but could not operate the lift without a key.

Central location

Very noisy road made worse by roadworks. On arrival - difficult to find hotel - very small sign. Could not get into lift without key so walked up stairs with luggage

Shops, restaurants, sightseeing

Hotel was perfectly situated in the center of Rome. Staff where profesional and very helpful. Will defenitly stay in this hotel again when I come back to Rome.

Hôtel très bien situé, proche de la gare de termini, des commerces et des attractions culrurelles et historiques. Les chambres sont petites mais propres, agréables, calmes et bien décorées dans une ambiance sobre. Le personnel parle français

l'ascenceur plutôt veillot mais il marche.

Easyjet hat vergessen den Hotelgutschein an das Hotel zu melden. Das Hotel wusste gar nicht das wir kommen. Die wussten nicht bescheid. Wir wurden dann vom Hotel Alius in ein anderes Hotel gebracht. Dort wurden wir dann ausquartiert und mussten außerhalb in einem Wohnhaus wohnen. Zum Frühstück mussten wir aus dem Haus und zwei Strassen laufen bis zu dem Hotel wo wir waren. Die Leuten vom Hotel waren sehr nett. Die sind ja auch nicht daran Schuld. Das war natürlich ärgerlich, da ich alle Touren neu planen musste. Ich hatte das Hotel Alius wegen der Zentrumsnähe gebucht. So hatten wir viel weitere Laufwege und höhere Fahrtkosten. Das lässt mich darüber nachdenken ob ich nochmals eine Hotel über Easyjet buche.
