Algonquin Hotel

Very friendly and efficient staff on duty 24/7. The quality of the room was superb, smallish but standard for UK hotel room sizes, and definitely not cramped. Bed very comfortable, and rooms clean. No noticeable road noise (as with other big city hotels). Location excellent - 2 minutes walk from Times Square and other metro stations, 10-15 minutes to central park. Hotel bar pricey but very popular.
