Hotel Abba Montparnasse

Bien situado, con parada de metro cercana. Instalaciones modernas y habitación confortable.

Habitación correcta pero algo pequeña para 2 adultos y 1 niño.

Zona muy bien comunicada con todos los distritos del centro de Paris. A 30 minutos a pie de Notre Dame o La Torre Eiffel, y varias estaciones de metro y RER en los alrededores. La limpieza es aceptable, los empleados amables y serviciales, el desayuno aunque variado se repite todos los días.

Las habitaciones abuardilladas tienen muy mala iluminación, el desayuno esta compuesto todos los días por lo mismo, el hotel da a dos calles, y si la habitación da a la menos principal hay dos discotecas con mucho ruido en la calle Viernes y Sábado, si bien se puede dormir. Además hay varios sex-shop en la calle principal, si bien no resulta peligrosa.

En pleno Montparnasse, es una buen zona para cenar y tomar algo, mucho ambiente.

Situación muy buena, con paradas de metro cercanas y muchos restaurantes y ambiente. Personal eficiente.

Habitaciones muy reducidas (como casi todas en Paris). No hay ni una butaca para poder estar comodamente sentado. Para ver la TV hay que estar en la cama o en una incómoda silla.

When I booked / pre-payed the room online, I was not aware of the additional tourist tax to be paid onsite (12 EURO for 2 adults for 4 nights); not a big deal but not a nice that the booking system is not clear upfront about that..

Very friendly, polite and helpful staff, hotel well located at a 5 min walking distance from Montparnasse bus and train station. Very clean and safe place to stay with a family

Long time to check-in due to group arrival, slow elevators; small room (for a family with an infant; cot bed is taking most of the available space); small bathroom, I struggle to close the door while entering. Glass doors for toilet and bathroom are not so good when visiting as a family as light is waking up infant - so we ended up sleeping very early each days. air conditioning not efficient, we could not sleep comfortably as it was too hot though the weather was not so warm outside. We ended up sleeping with the window open - which is not great for street noise......... despite all of that we had a good stay..

Restaurants and pub, Luxembourg garden, etc.

Although the hotel was exceptionally clean and stylishly designed, we were somewhat disappointed with the customer service we received from the hotel staff when we had a problem with our room. The bathroom door was broken and would not close, let alone lock. Travelling not as a couple but as two friends, we felt that privacy between bedroom and bathroom was a basic expectation. We were not taken seriously by the reception staff and management and had to battle to get our room changed. At one point we were told that if we didn't like it we were more than welcome to find another hotel! It was a shame that this problem, which could so easily have been resolved, escalated like this and marred our stay. The poor customer service we received would certainly make me less inclined to return to this hotel or recommend it to friends.
