Hotel is situated in front of the central station. It was very good and clean.

I had to request several times to change the linens. It wasn't very good

Since it's right in front of the central station, there are a lot of things to do.

Good clean accomodation with a good choice of produce offered for the breakfast buffet.

Thin walls so heard the noisy neighbours.

Everything. 15 minutes walk to Central Munich.

This is basic accomodation and so is reflected in price but satisfactory for staying in Munich on a budget.

A+O HOTEL/HOSTEL

The A&O Hauptbahnhof is in a good central location near to many attractions. The rooms that my friends and I booked were very clean and the beds were comfy, which was a relief. I found the staff to be very friendly and knowledgable. A budget hotel to go back to.

The shower head did not spray properly resulting in the sides of the cubicle getting wet not you. This was a shame as the shower had good power and didn't seem to run out of hot water.

We found that most attractions in the city centre were within walking distance from the hotel.

Munich is a fantastic place to visit, and I thoroughly recommend it to anybody thinking of going there.

there seemed to some confusion over our advance booking, which resulted in a member of staff querying why we were allocated our room; this appeared to be due to a break down in communication.

the hotel is ideally placed for exploring all of the attractions Munich has to offer.

This is NOT A HOTEL - it is a HOSTEL (masquerading as a hotel). The location is central, quite close to the main train station and the hostel is kept relatively clean.

The check in staff were not helpful on the day of arrival - we had booked twin rooms and were given double rooms i.e. a double bed, rather than twins which we specifically asked for. The check in staff said 'we have no other rooms available for the duration of your stay and twin rooms can't be guaranteed'). The bedrooms were small, bedding was poor (an off white duvet and a pillow as thick as a pair of socks!). There is no discrete bar area; moreover the dining, general relaxing and bar area were all in one. There was no food menu, other than breakfast. Breakfast was very poor - no hot food at all (not even bacon, sausage or egg!). The beer was bottled only and there were only two choices available. This hostel is definitely NOT suitable for anyone who is used to experiencing 'normal' 2, 3 or 4 star accommodation. The price paid was truly outrageous given the facilities on offer. I wouldn't expect to pay any more than £30 per night for these facilities - I believe we paid in excess of £70. I will NEVER visit this hostel again and would caution EasyJet to think very carefully about including this as a hotel on your recommended list. You would be far better advised (in my opinion) to advertise it as a clean hostel, suitable for back packers, students etc and negotiate the prices downwards in line with the quality of the facilities on offer.
