Very noisy, as well from outside , but also inside; thin walls between the rooms All depends on expectatios: it is really not a 4 star hotel, rather a nice bed and breakfast, Some of the staff are nice, other not interested in their guests at all. Breakfast is very modest. But what to expect for this price?

I would recommend contacting Presto Tours for any city tours. We booked the Colesseum & Roman Forum Tour, Rome City Evening Walking Tour and The Vatican & Vatican Museum Tour. All three Tour Guides were fantastic, especially Ryan on the Vatican tour, and I learned more in 3 days that I have learned in years.

Good location, very quirky especially if you have the room in the roof with the spirral staircase, staff very helpful, staff able to lend hairdryer, etc.

The pictures of the room on the web site look much better than the actual room. We had the room in the roof with the spirral staircase, which although was quirky and pleasant, was too small, no where to hang clothes and cold. I would suggest booking a room which is in one whole area than two small rooms split by a staircase.

Colesseum, underground and bus stop is 5 minutes walk from the hotel, restaurants very near by however ask for guidance from hotel staff who will point you in right direction for resonable priced establishments. Trevi Fountain is approx 15/20 minutes walk from hotel and Spanish Steps is approx 30 minutes walk. Taxi from hotel to Trevi Fountain area is approx 5 euros.
