    Very good free bus for Funchal lovely gardens view of the ocean

    tried to change our booking on arrival to non self catering in another hotel only tried one restaurant in the complex good enviroment but still very ordinary mass produced food

    not far from the sea steep slope down also down the slope good spar open 7 days a week several restaurants and shops up a steep slope

    We had an excellent stay at the Eden Mar. The staff were friendly and helpful and the only reason that we have given the room a rating of 4 is that the settee and chair in the suite were not very comfortable. We would happily stay there again when we return to Madeira.

    paid for suite took 4 days and a lot of hassle to then be change to the right room with compensation and food vouchers. When we finally were hear and listened to after treats of taking it to higher management duty manager appeared and dealt with. Did leave a bad taste .
