We had a 3 bedroom very spacious suite, perfect for a family of 5 and excellent value at the rate we got on Hotelopia. Travelling with a family of 5 is always a challenge as it is difficult to get spacious accomodation in a central location at a reasonable price, so we were delighted to find Plaza on the River. It suited our needs perfectly. Our room had lovely views over the Thames and the hotel is about a 20 minute walk to Trafalgar Square.
Housekeeping was poor. No shampoos or toilet paper in one of the bathrooms on arrival, TV not working, bedside lamp not working. left over food in fridge from previous guest. While these matters were rectified quickly it did show that not enough attention is given to room preparation. I did complain at the front desk but apart from noting my complaint nothing else was done to acknowledge the inconvenience. Also, some of the furniture is poor quality and showing signs of wear and tear. these faults suggest that the Hotel is not a 5 star establishment , it is more a 4 star in my view
If you don't mind a brisk walk along the embankment, then the location is very good. 10 minutes to London Eye, 10 minutes to Big Ben, 20 minutes to Trafalgar Square, 30 minutes to Covent Garden

No swimmingpool near by.
Easy going. No problems giving vouchers when room was not available in time.
Hotel is free standing, but has on two sides buildings. We could see the Thames from our room on the far side from the Big Ben (so not as in the pictures at all). Keep in mind that could happen to you as well. Former business building is being renovated into appartments which might lead to less privacy. Our windows were bottom to top, which leaves lots of possibilities for 'new' neibours to peek in.
Boot trip, Big Ben, London Eye, Fitness run along side the Thames.

Some very pleasant details: Nespresso coffee machine in room, little croissants in lobby in morning for those who have to skip breakfast etc etc. Room very spacious and kitchen fully equipped - very convenient.

Nous avions réservé une suite et le confort de la chambre était vraiment au RDV. L'hôtel est trés proche de BigBen et de la Grande roue. Nous avons eu droit à un pot d'accueil, des chocolats vers 18h et du café du thé dans la chambre. Qualité prix correct à mon sens.
Nous avons juste un bémol, au bar, si vous n'avez pas le physique "d'un riche", il est préférable de ne pas attendre de vous faire servir et d'aller directement au bar !
BigBen, la Grande Roue, vous restez proche du métro environ 5-10 minutes (de marche).
