Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a central location in Amsterdam. There are cheaper options, but in my opinion not better options. This was our second time there and we will be planning on returning in the future.

Large rooms - a pleasant surprise in Amsterdam! Fridge, hairdryer, safety deposit box and fan all supplied free of charge in the room. Could also ask to borrow other items from reception at no charge. Very helpful staff. Free luggage storage room.

Breakfast at certain times could be busy and sometimes had to wait for a table.

Very central - Dam Square, Royal Palace, Anne Frank's House, Centraal Station, great shopping all in walking distance.

The hotel was ideal for our trip to see the Anne Frank house and also very central. Air conditioning would have been an advantage as it was extremely warm. Would visit again

We were sent to the Novotel on the edge of town by the Tourist information office. There was no address on the booking confirmation email which was all we had with us when we arrived at the Central Station. To have this infiormation on the form would avoid confusing the two hotels with very similar sounding names. Lift door very heavy to negotiate with bulky suitcases.
