Apartamento Cala d'Or

Una cosa que no me ha gustado del hotel es que en la información que dan sobre él ponen que está a 400 metros de la playa, y no es así para llegar a la playa son por lo menos 2 km,

The steps at the entrance are a bit hard going, lugging suitcases up was not easy and espesially for families with small children.

These apts were well placed from the main centre and kept very clean with friendly staff - when we were there late April 2009 the pool seemed relatively empty and there were plenty of sunbeds -we sampled the food in the bar area which was pleasant and reasonably priced.

Would suggest that if you dont mind checking out at 10am then that's fine however if you have an evening flight or early am I would suggest you check the online price for booking extra day - if not, and a room is available, you will be charged 36 euros for renting after 10am until max 5pm that evening - Pigeons were noted from our top floor apt which were mildly annoying however to be fair they were being fed by some residents in the hotel! We found the apts could be doing with a tv even if only for the BBC News or background effect as nowadays you take them for granted - however, once again this maybe what you prefer. There seemed to be a couple of resident cats which were tolerated but if you have an allergy or fear of them then you should be aware of this and indeed we counted 6 on one set of steps leading up to the road the apts lie on.

There's a big centre at the foot of the 187 steps choc full of shops, bars etc - further afield the bay walk along the cliff to the man made beach is well worth it - we had a car hire hence went further afield into the mountains from Mogan approx 10 miles away - ended up at a lovely picnic area next to a Dam with walks all around - Masapolamas Sand dunes were worth trip but beware - parking or rather lack of it can proove challenging. oh ... did I mention there were 187 Steps down....funnily enough... same amount up..

Zimmer, welches wir hatte und auch die meisten anderen betrifft es liegen so, dass die Abendunterhaltung laut bis 1 Uhr Nachts zu hören ist
